Currency & Exchange
The Lithuanian currency is LITAS (LTL), which is divided into 100 cents.
Coins are circulated in the following denominations:
1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 cents; 1, 2, 5 LTL
Bank notes are issued in denominations of:
10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 LTL

1 EUR = 3.4528 LTL
1 USD = 2.6300 LTL
1 GBP = 5.1515 LTL
NOTE: Only local currency is accepted in cash. Some souvenir shops accept Euros. Major credit cards are widely accepted at hotels, stores, cafes and restaurants.
ATM’s and Banks
ATMs/cash machines
ATMs offer a convenient way of withdrawing Lithuanian money on a credit or debit card. Most banks have these machines, and all major cards are accepted (be sure to have your PIN code).ATM’s can be found in the old town of Klaipeda.
Banks & bureaux de change
Banks (“Swedbank”, “SEB Bankas”) are open from 08.00 to 16.00 (4 p.m.) on weekdays with late hours until 17.00 (5.00 p.m.). On Saturdays open 09.00 to 15.00 (3 p.m.). Closed on Sundays.
“Pramogų bankas” is open 24 hrs. Located in the central Theatre Square.

Public Transportation
Public taxi is available next to the ship upon arrival to the terminal.
Tourism Information Center (TIC)
Tourism information is available at the terminal and old town of Klaipeda, Turgaus str. 7.
Emergency
In an emergency, dial 112 to contact the police or ambulance and fire service. Emergency calls from public pay phones are free.
