Description of the tour:

If you are a cyclist or you just like to cycle and you would like to explore a new area while pedalling, this tour gives you an opportunity to see Klaipėda old town and a part of Curonian Spit National Park on bicycle.

Take a change in four hours to explore Klaipeda Old Town and the most unique place in Lithuania – the Curonian Spit National park. During this guided cycling excursion you will visit the most popular tourist places of Klaipeda City - the Theatre Square with famous sculpture of Anchen von Tharau, the Old Town with reconstructed Yacht harbour and the Dane River promenade. After short ferriage to the Curonian Spit you will make a round cycling tour through pine woods en route exploring the most interesting sites like the harbour gate and its protection mole heading to the Baltic Sea for several kilometres, overland exposition of boats from ancient and soviet times, ethnographic fisherman’s household and Maritime Museum with the only Dolphinarium in the Baltic States. You might also have a chance to discover a piece of golden amber washed ashore, swim in the Baltic Sea, try local snacks and drinks and from panoramic dune enjoy beautiful views of the Curonian Lagoon, the Baltic Sea and changing face of Klaipeda city with its modern skyscrapers.In the afternoon the bus will take you back to Klaipeda.
